Uncle Jonathan from mum's church. Even though we are not the member of his church, he is always there to give us good advise, help us solve our marriage conflict and trouble, giving us support in many ways and sharing the word of God. He used to be a bad boy, as you can see he has many tattoos which looks quite cool. haha! There is an old saying
"Never judge a book by it's cover".
He is definately someone that I LOOK UPon to! Thanks for being there for us! *Hugz*

Bibi's treat to the Swenson. It's a wonderful day to be a child of God!

Secondly, Bibi recently got a promotion!

He is a strong contributor to his company, always loaded with so much works!

Although it is not possible to eliminate stress completely, there are some things we can do to reduce it. You have to set up some rewards that comes with hard work. We likes to pamper ourselves with good food. haha! Bibi brought me to this korean bbq restaurant at dempsey road. Ops, can't remember the name of the restaurant. =x

Sweet hor? Childish? Who cares! I love it.=p Baby happily bought me my favourite banana split. Cost $15! Huh?? So ex?! I love banana split but i still prefer the original one with cream and peanut topping, not m&m chocolate with sweet sugar! It's way too sweet. However, i didn't want to disappoint him by telling him that as you can see his happy face after buying this banana split for me. =s I will try my very best to finish but ... =( I didn't consume more than half portion.Bi feel bore to eat alone. Is the bible true?

Normally, I will just spend less then 15mins of my time to post something on my blog. I didn't even bother to read through it, just shot! haha! But this time, I spend a few hours trying to figure out how to create a blog skin. Arrgghhh!! as well as correcting some of my typo errors on my previous post too! Sianz =p Another question, how to enlarge photos without losing it quality? .=p Hmmm.... wish i had more free time to do all these "bo liao" stuff. *Luv my layout* heehee... Oh ya by the way, I found something interesting to read. (Copy and paste) hee... Enjoy!

Is the Bible true?

Mariah asks:How do we know if the Bible is really true?
Denny answers:The Bible is true because it is God's Word. God's Word has been proven true again and again. We know the Bible is true for several reasons. First, other historical evidence agrees with the Bible that its stories really did happen and its people really did live. The Bible’s stories and teachings have never changed either. Its words have stayed the same ever since it was written many hundreds of years ago! Mark 13:31 says, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”Second, the Bible proves itself to be true. The Bible predicted that things would happen long before they did, and all of these things (called prophecies) really did happen. The Bible was written by over 40 different people, but God gave them the words to say in order to make it all tell the same story about Him and about His love for us. Many prophecies in Isaiah told people about Jesus hundreds of years before He came to the earth.Third, the Bible changes people’s lives. It has a special power from God to reveal God’s plans for us. It tells how God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins, and to set us free from our sins if we trust in Jesus. The Bible has the power to heal our hearts, make us better people, give us peace with God, and to give us a very important reason to live. Just reading the Bible can make us feel like we finally understand the answers to our questions; God uses it to show us what He wants to teach us. When we read it, God can open our hearts and eyes to help us believe that the Bible is really true.Fourth, we should believe the Bible is true because many men and women have died defending it. They refused to change their minds about what it said, even when it meant they would be killed. Many people have tried to destroy the Bible and to keep people from reading it, but God has protected it for many hundreds of years. Why would so many people die defending the Bible, if it weren’t true?Bible Truth
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth [the Bible]" (2 Timothy 2:15).
"For the word of God [the Bible] is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

To add on!! God saved my family and that's all i know! With God, all things are possible, and without God nothing good is possible.

Alright Byee! zzz...

Effects of Cold Water

If you like to drink cold water then you should read this article. It feels good to have a cup of cold drink after eating but cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you’ve just consumed. It slows down your digestion and once this sludge reacts with acid, it will then break down and the intestine will absorb it faster than the solid food. It will then line the intestine and very soon it will turn into fats and lead to cancer. The best thing to do after a meal is to drink warm water or hot soup.

We have our values

Pastor prince was having his rest day so pastor Mark took over for a day. He is a hokkien and mandrine pastor so it wasn't easy for him to preach in English. He mix a little bit of all langauges when he preach,So funny lah. =p He preached about Love!Well, It's so much easier to express anger than love. He mentioned that we have to kiss and hug in order to express our love. Especially to our children, they needs love and assurance. Love is always express by hugs and kisses. Parents neglected this point so there are time that you can see some students in their school uniform, kissing and hugging at the bus stop!
The girl then said to her parents "I know it's all a lie, but I feel good when he says he loves me."

"If you don't tell them that you love them, kiss and hug them then they will find someone els to take over." said pastor Mark. Pastor Mark is so funny.hees... We're just talking about the good, old-fashioned bear hug that generates nothing but warmth, affection and a feeling of acceptance. And we mean really 'hug', not just playfully tickled him or kissed him on the cheek.Held them close to your heart for a few moments so he feels your love without you having to say a word.
There is so much to learn in church. =D I have to admit that I am a lousy Christian because I seldom read the bible and at times don't behave like one. Beside communicating with him before I go to bed, I have so limited knowledge. But despite who I am, God loves me! I shall not take him for granted, ok will start reading bible soonnnnnn! At least 1 sentance per day.=p
On our way to service last week!

Too forcusing on holding the camera at the right position so forgot to smile!

"Darling please don't block my side mirror." =.=! Ok... I shall stop snapping then... zzz

It's time to go for a hair do but when? I am so sian when i think about going to sit there for like 4 hours! You should know I am a hyperactive kid and couldn't sit still!

Okie byebye!

In Memory of My Beloved Grandmother

Cousins Joanne, Andy and me the big sister.

My Grandmother took care of me since i was born, my mum was still working then and I seldom get to see her during my childhood days. I was not born with a rich family so life was really simple. I remember there are times that we would get some money from grandma telling her that we are going to buy some school stuff from the mama shop but instead, we went to the playgroud (Joanne, Andy ah boy and myself) to play. Hee... Grandma always scold me for being the bad influence. =S I thoroughly enjoyed those afternoons when, after school, I would go to the market to buy things with her. she simply loves Nintendo too much! Bubbles puzzel games too. She likes to watch me play Super Mario game because I was an expert. haha! she can't help herself from yelling each time Mario fall into a black hole. Lol

My hair looks like bird nest, but grandma is cute here.

This is how she makes me sleep.=p

Few months ago, we heard from auntie that she is getting weaker each day. On New year eve, We visited grandmother at my parent's house. She was rather overweight and was rather weak in the legs and arms so she needs a wheelchair to move about. Baby and i drove her back to auntie's place after the gathering. Grandma almost fall when I try to carry her into the car, baby has to help me immediately after he lifts the folding wheelchair into the car boot. When we reached the lobby, baby has to lift and carry grandma up the staircases to the 4th level as there isn't any lift within the block! Haiz...."Joey feels useless, she was nowhere near strong enough to carry grandma." I know it's quite an effort for him to carry grandma. At that very moment, I start think how lost I would be without baby. I need him to complete me. *Thank you my love*

My forth auntie house

I thought that everything would be fine because at first I just thought she was sick. Apparently, I was wrong. The next day she was having trouble moving and we send her to the hospital. After the doctors ran some tests they diagnosed her with cancer and the cancer cells had spread to her brain. When I heard the news, I knew that it was bad because you really don’t hear about people with cancer surviving. As a human being, I had strong emotional issues to deal with. I wish she could have lived longer because we were really close to her. We bought her food she likes and fed her. She couldn’t chew or swallow solid food so smashing the food is just fine. I tried my best to feed her with medicine using a straw and she took it bravely. "You used to fed me when I was a girl, now it the other way round, let me feed you" I said this to her. She would smiled back at me and nodded her head. :> She was weak but was still aware of what’s going on around her. We try to keep her awake by chatting with her because she had too much sleep during the day. I could hardly sleep that night when I heard she is shifting to the Buddhist Welfare Services Convalescent & Nursing Home as she has difficulty walking and we are unable to take care of her own daily living. Grandma need an intensive care. I heard people who stay there don't survive long, but I just believed the Lord is going to heal her. Up till her last moments, I can still feel her love for us. She would still try to give each of us a warm hug when we visit. I didn't want to hug grandma because I knew the inevitable was near. I didn't want the tears to come, just like my sister. I can sense grandma wants to give us her last hug. I never thought she was close to death. Tears still welds up when I recalled these moments.

I am going to wear it on my wedding day!

This is the last gift from her. I was suprised that she had something for me even before she left. I brought this ring to the shop where I bought my diamonds and requested the stuff to clean it for me. It doesn't really shines but still look beautiful and clean. I am not sure and did not check if it is diamonds, real stone or natural crystal. All I know that it's priceless! Somthing so precious to me. It's a bond that can never be replaced.

In the hospital

She had a very peaceful death and is no longer in pain. "I thank God for taking away her horror and fear, letting her know your with her and feels your presence strongly." God is doing a mighty work thru this trial. Little by little I adjusted to the changes that were occurring in my life. I wish I could brought her back to my new home and spend her last moments with me, sharing the joy on my wedding day on 2010. Well, it doesn't really matters anymore because I knew she has gone to a better place, a place without sicknesses and pain. She is waiting for me in heaven and watching over me. =)We all make a promise to have a family gathering on the 04 May, a very important date for us to remember.

Ah Mah, I Love You

Happy shopping!

I meet up with Joanne, my sister and brother for dinner and shopping yesterday. Sis wanted a new bag so we decided to meet in town.
Telling myself that being lazy and tired are just some excuses to avoid doing things.
After dinner, we being to a few shops to lookout for bags and found one that she really likes. She was eyeing it for sometimes so I bought it for her.=)
Besides buying stuffs for them, I bought something for myself too!
How to resist the urge to splurge? While waiting for Joanne outside the changing room. please do not enlarge this photo because...
I didn't want my double chin to be seen!

Let jie jie teach u how to take pictures because I eat salt more than you eat rice. lol

Change positions. Wah rao eh... Joanne fainted inside the room? =x

Bought 1 high waist skirt, 3 tops, legging and a dress. Eh... expect that checker skirt was a gift from my galies Lovexxx.

Actually, the real purpose of meeting up with my sister is to return mum's sim card she left it with me the other day, but we totally forgotten about it. *Kana Scolded=s*

The easiest way to not buy anything is simply not to carry too much cash! Lol.
