Edinburgh Castle dominates the panoramic vista of Scotland's capital and is inextricably linked with Scotland's history. It's a must to visit! It is one of the treausred tourist spots in the world. The distance from Glasgow city is about an hour journey by Scotrail service. Pretty amazing views!

Over the centuries, the castle was used to hold state prisoners, and sometimes to put them to death.
In medieval times, common criminals were thrown into dungeons beneath the castle. Prisoners brought here in later years include enemy soldiers and sailors, pirates, traitors and women accused of witchcraft.

Pipers also play Scottish Small Pipes, which are a sweet toned instrument. Excellent ambient music for Scottish occasions! This is an extremely smart outfit! Bb will have a chance to wear it on his graduation day. ha...
